ACAPAC
- The purpose of the ACAPAC is to support candidates for elective offices who are interested in and share our concerns on key issues.
- The ACAPAC is a voluntary, non-profit association organized for political purposes. Eligible employees have the right to refuse to contribute without any reprisal.
- A PAC Board, consisting of eligible employees of the company representing the various business units and facilities of the company, manage the conduct of the PAC, including solicitation efforts, political distributions, legal reporting requirements, accounting and budgets, etc.
ACAPAC is a federally registered, nonpartisan political action committee of EADS North America, its affiliates and subsidiaries that makes contributions to federal candidates and committees. Participation in ACAPAC is purely voluntary and refusal to contribute will not result in reprisal. Participants must be a U.S. citizen or foreign citizen admitted for permanent U.S. residence. Contributions to ACAPAC are not deductible for federal income tax purposes. Federal law requires ACAPAC to make its best effort to report to the Federal Election Commission the name, address, occupation and name of the employer, date and amount for each individual whose contribution exceeds $200 per calendar year. Federal law prohibits any PAC from soliciting donations from other than an eligible solicitable class. Any contribution received from an individual who does not belong to the eligible class will not be accepted and will be returned to the donor.
